Truck Sales Executive - Warrington
We currently have an opportunity for a Truck Sales Executive to join our team at our Commercial Mercedes-Benz Dealership site in Warrington.
eStar Truck and Van is an approved Mercedes-Benz dealership group with 5 locations covering the North-West and North Wales selling the full range of new and used Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles including the Vito, Sprinter and Citan vans, Atego, Actros, Arocs and Econic trucks, as well as the FUSO Canter. We’ll help you move yours or your customer's products from paper plates and scaffolding to generators over 250 tonnes.
We also provide aftersales support for the full range of Mercedes-Benz vans and trucks, and FUSO Canter, 24-hour commercial vehicle workshops, suppliers of Mercedes-Benz GenuineParts and ReMan Parts, 24-hour roadside assistance and recovery, VOSA Authorised Testing Facilities, Servicing and MOT class 4, 5, 7.

The right person is being sought for the position of Truck Sales Consultant within our growing team.

What do our customers need from you?
You will manage the customer's journey with us – complete customer satisfaction is our driving force.
You will also generate your own truck sales leads through prospecting – using tried and tested methods but highly encouraged to think outside of the box too.
You’ll drive the customer's journey with us, from the initial customer contact to our eStar proposal and sale through to delivery and a seamless handover to your aftersales colleagues.
Manage and develop our local customer base to meet the sales targets through identification and development of potential sales opportunities with new and existing customers building the appropriate specifications and package offers.
Clearly communicate with the wider business through our defined processes to ensure we are maximising our potential in the local area, from van sales to parts supply and beyond.
Manage each deal to ensure you maximise profit and minimise cost – this way we can reinvest in our and our customer's futures by offering the highest levels of customer support and satisfaction.
What do you need to bring?
A strong customer focus is an absolute must, with the ability to set and work to priorities you identify.
You absolutely need to be focused with energy, passion and drive to succeed with your own business within a business.
Strong interpersonal skills are required as you will need to be able to effectively communicate at all levels with our customers, from Directors and Owners through to Management and Drivers alike – the ability to build trust and long term relationships is an absolute must.
You will need to be able to offer our customers the best possible solution for their business utilising the tools at your disposal. The right processes that you can trust, with a modern and unrivalled demonstrator fleet along with a support function and systems behind you - just the tip of the iceberg.
Ability to generate new business and compile a healthy pipeline of orders to sustain a level of work for our workshops but also your own, uncapped, commission.
Sales experience of some sort with a demonstrable history of providing customer excellence, ideally within the world of commercial vehicles but not a necessity. The ability to not only identify truck sales but also opportunities for the wider business is a must.
An understanding of the world of trucks is ideal but not a requirement of the applicant i.e. how vehicles are financed, what service packages a customer would need and so on.
Experienced user of IT software such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint is highly desirable.
A C+E license is a bonus but we can always support the right candidate to learn to drive a truck.
The highest levels of honesty and integrity are non-negotiable.
